Your Tasks

As a member of our Recordation Department, you will take on a varied role involving the preparation, coordination, and management of registration and recordation procedures before patent offices in Germany and abroad.

In addition, you will conduct searches in national and international databases, monitor patent applications, and assist in obtaining scientific literature. Following a structured onboarding process, you will manage your own projects independently. You will serve as an internal point of contact for our patent attorneys and colleagues, while also handling external correspondence with patent offices and clients.

Your Qualifications

As a Legal Professional
You have completed a degree in law or business law (e.g., First State Examination, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification). Applications from recent graduates are welcome.
Alternatively, you have completed training as a Patent Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or possess a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience that has provided you with the necessary legal knowledge.

As a Person
You work accurately, in a structured manner, and on your own initiative. You are able to maintain an overview even when handling complex tasks, have a quick grasp of new concepts, and enjoy working collaboratively in a committed team.
Your strong service orientation and excellent organizational skills make you a reliable point of contact for clients and patent authorities.

Very good command of both German and English, as well as proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, are essential due to our international working environment.
