What you can expect
- Preparation, coordination, and execution of registration procedures before patent authorities in Germany and abroad
- Research in national and international databases
- Monitoring of patent applications
- Support in obtaining scientific literature
- After structured training: independent handling of projects
- Internal contact person for patent attorneys and colleagues
- External correspondence with authorities and clients
What sets you apart
As a Patent Administration Specialist
- Training as a Patent Paralegal, a comparable qualification, or a completed degree in business or law (First State Examination or equivalent degree)
- Initial professional experience is desirable; candidates at the beginning of their careers are also welcome
- Very good command of German and English
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
- Careful, structured, and independent way of working
- Quick comprehension and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain an overview even when dealing with complex tasks
- Enjoyment of working in a committed team
- Strong service orientation
- Reliable and professional manner when dealing with clients and authorities
